What you will do

• Manage daily repair operations to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness, including scheduling and material requisition.
• Supervise repair mechanics and apprentices, handling performance management and progressive discipline.
• Foster a culture of safety by administering company safety programs and performing audits.
• Monitor job status, efficiencies, and completion using system reports and billable data.
• Collaborate with regional coordinators and sales personnel to manage repair backlogs and market penetration.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local elevator industry code requirements.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of the construction industry and general management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or 2 years of experience managing at a branch departmental level.
• Ability to write reports, contract proposals, and business correspondence.
• Ability to interpret complex technical instructions, mathematical data, and diagrams.
