What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure and development tools.
• Automate CI/CD pipelines and server configurations using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Implement security best practices, patch vulnerabilities, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage Test, Staging, and Production environments to optimize delivery workflows.
• Monitor system performance and implement observability tools for proactive maintenance.
• Develop comprehensive system documentation and disaster recovery runbooks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps or software engineer.
• Proficiency in Python and strong experience with AWS (IAM, EC2, S3, Lambda).
• Deep understanding of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and IaC (Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation).
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
• Working knowledge of SQL and version control workflows (Git, GitHub, Perforce).
• Must be based in or able to work from New York, NY.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
• Experience with C++ and Spack for C++ pipelines.
• Familiarity with immutable infrastructure and configuration management (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Knowledge of REST APIs and Swagger.
• Experience with build systems like CMake and CPack.
