What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure cloud-native solutions on AWS.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code to manage multi-account cloud environments.
• Optimize CI/CD automation pipelines for reliable software deployments.
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliant cloud implementations.
• Automate operational workflows using Python, Bash, and JavaScript.
• Contribute to infrastructure supporting Generative AI applications.

Requirements

• Must be a US Person (US citizen or legal permanent resident).
• Must be able to obtain a NOAA badge.
• Must reside within 100 miles of Alexandria, VA or Philadelphia, PA.
• 6+ years of software development experience with 3+ years in Cloud Technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience with IaC and major cloud platforms.
• Solid experience with Linux environments and Agile development teams.

Nice to have

• Technical cloud certifications (AWS/Azure).
• Experience with Generative AI technologies.
• Experience in regulated contexts (NIST 800-53, PCI, HIPAA).
• Familiarity with geospatial data processing tools.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, EKS).
