What you will do

• Test, troubleshoot, and repair analog and digital circuits to the component level.
• Diagnose and repair common drive faults, including power supplies, IGBTs, and capacitors.
• Perform inspection, cleaning, and assembly/disassembly of elevator drive systems and control boards.
• Utilize oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies to document signal readings and test results.
• Apply datasheets and system-level schematics to ensure correct circuit operation and diagnostics.
• Assist in the development of test strategies for undocumented PCB assemblies and drive systems.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Atlanta, GA.
• 4+ years of experience troubleshooting analog and digital circuit boards to the component level as a primary duty.
• Proficiency in fine-pitch soldering and de-soldering for through-hole and surface-mount components on multi-layer boards.
• Ability to read and interpret system-level schematics and component data specifications.
• Understanding of motors and power systems using 3-phase power and high-current components.
• Preferred completion of a 2-year college, trade school, or military electronics repair program.
