GRC Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Transform the information security compliance program into an automated, continuously monitored system.
• Translate regulatory requirements into technical controls and build automated evidence collection pipelines using scripting, APIs, and AI.
• Maintain certifications and compliance programs including ISO 27001, ISO 27701, and PCI DSS.
• Embed compliance checks and telemetry into a standardized GRC platform in collaboration with engineering, security, privacy, finance, and business teams.
• Provide technical risk advisory, support third-party due diligence, and manage partner security assessments.
• Develop a knowledge base and improve risk management and security awareness processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in GRC Engineering, Security Engineering, or Cloud Security.
• Strong programming and scripting skills with Python, Go, or Bash, including custom API integrations for automated evidence gathering.
• Experience designing and integrating GRC tools with AI-assisted workflows.
• Experience conducting security assessments and automating third-party vendor reviews.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, or PCI DSS.
• Fluent English is required.

Nice to have

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, CRISC, CCSP, or cloud security certifications.
• Experience with Vanta, Drata, or similar continuous compliance automation platforms.
• Knowledge of AI risk governance frameworks or experience securing LLM-enabled tooling.
