What you will do

• Develop and maintain microservices and APIs that power API management tools.
• Contribute to team features and initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional counterparts.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code with comprehensive unit and integration tests.
• Participate in code reviews and design discussions focused on operational reliability.
• Monitor service health and contribute to ongoing operational improvements.
• Support production services through participation in an on-call rotation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience building backend services.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js with production experience.
• Solid experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL, including data modeling.
• Experience building or consuming REST APIs and third-party integrations.
• Familiarity with distributed systems concepts such as idempotency and failure handling.
• Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and system design.
