What you will do

• Coordinate public relations efforts for the SMX World Championship across all markets.
• Develop and maintain publicity materials including press releases, infographics, and media recaps.
• Liaise with media, SMX teams, and athletes during events and PR activations.
• Execute race week PR, media days, and press conferences including logistics management.
• Manage press credentials, press box setup, and the SMX PR budget.
• Support the Corporate Communications team with influencer and celebrity events.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to commute to Ellenton, Florida.
• College degree in public relations, journalism, communications, or marketing.
• 3-5 years of PR experience, preferably in sports or entertainment.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple campaigns.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to travel approximately 40% of the time, primarily in Q1 and Q2.
