What you will do

• Build AI-native self-service solutions using Amazon Connect, Amazon Q, and Bedrock.
• Develop serverless, event-driven backends using Lambda, Step Functions, and DynamoDB.
• Engineer custom Agent Workspace experiences using React and the Amazon Connect Streams API.
• Implement infrastructure as code using AWS CDK and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate directly with customer engineering teams to design, demo, and deploy contact center solutions.
• Debug production issues and optimize AI agent performance, latency, and inference costs.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years specifically on Amazon Connect or CCaaS platforms.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js and Python.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI development (Bedrock, Claude, or Lex).
• Deep expertise in AWS serverless architecture and infrastructure as code (CDK/Terraform).
• Proven ability to ship and support production-grade systems with strong testing and observability practices.
• Clear communication skills for client-facing technical working sessions and demonstrations.

Nice to have

• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer, or ML/Connect Specialty).
• Experience with contact center migrations from legacy systems like Avaya, Genesys, or Cisco.
• Background in regulated industries such as healthcare (HIPAA) or finance.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and AI observability tools.
