What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of financial professionals, including performance management and recruitment support.
• Prepare monthly close packages and perform detailed variance analysis on financial information.
• Support all planning activities, including short-term forecasting and bottom-up budget construction.
• Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Controlling, and Treasury teams to ensure consistency and integrity of financial data.
• Assist with internal and external audit processes and provide support across business lines.

Requirements

• Master degree in accounting, finance, business management, or economics.
• 5-7 years of experience in controlling, audit, or corporate finance roles.
• Strong proficiency in SAP, BI tools, and Excel.
• English proficiency is required for interaction in a matrix, multi-country environment.
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be based in or able to work from Bucharest, Romania.

Nice to have

• Professional certification such as ACCA or CIMA.
• Proficiency in French or other European languages.
