What you will do

• Lead the annual enterprise risk assessment and develop risk-informed audit plans.
• Provide independent assurance on internal controls, business processes, and governance.
• Serve as the primary interface with the Board of Directors Audit Committee.
• Drive the issuance of actionable audit reports that identify root causes and solutions.
• Oversee SOX compliance and coordinate coverage with external auditors.
• Build and lead a high-performing team of internal audit professionals.

Requirements

• Minimum of 15 years of finance management experience, including as Head of Internal Audit.
• Proven track record in a publicly traded global manufacturing or industrial technology company.
• Experience working with a Board of Directors Audit Committee.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required; MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
• Professional certification such as CIA or CPA strongly preferred.
• Must be based in Chicago, Illinois.
