What you will do

• Partner with leadership and stakeholders to define and execute the creative vision across all disciplines.
• Lead the development of narrative, characters, investigative gameplay, and environmental storytelling.
• Mentor and support the design team to foster a culture of quality and accountability.
• Collaborate with engineering, art, and audio to establish effective workflows and drive implementation.
• Translate high-level creative vision into polished, shippable content while maintaining consistency.
• Contribute hands-on to writing, prototyping, and content development within Unreal Engine 5.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in game development.
• At least 5 years in a creative leadership, narrative leadership, or senior design role.
• Hands-on experience developing content in Unreal Engine 5.
• Proven track record of shipping at least one narrative-driven or creatively ambitious game.
• Deep understanding of interactive storytelling, narrative pacing, and player agency.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to align multidisciplinary teams.

Nice to have

• Passion for crime fiction and grounded, character-driven narrative games.
• Experience with dialogue systems, cinematic storytelling, or branching narrative tools.
• Expertise in performance capture and the adaptation of real-world subject matter.
• Strong instincts for dramatic pacing, mystery, and suspense.
