What you will do

• Take ownership of narrative projects including quests, systems, and cinematic moments from conception to execution.
• Write punchy, characterful dialogue and text that fits the game's tone.
• Collaborate with Level Design, Game Design, Animation, Art, and Audio departments to ensure alignment.
• Create clear narrative design documentation to communicate the vision across the studio.
• Mentor junior narrative designers and support the Narrative Lead with managerial tasks.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of processes and tools to enhance productivity.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in Narrative Design.
• Must be based in the UK.
• Solid understanding of quest design and creating compelling gameplay narratives.
• Proven skill in dialogue writing and adapting writing to a specific tone.
• Experience shipping a game from planning to launch.
• Ability to mentor other designers and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with action and horror genres.
• Technical proficiency with a game engine or associated tools.
