Salary: $156,000 – $220,000 USD (depending on geographic zone)

What you will do

• Design and refine insider threat detection logic and analytics, leveraging AI to improve signal quality and automate repetitive workflows.
• Conduct deep-dive investigations into suspected insider threats, including data exfiltration and policy violations.
• Develop and implement a scalable detection strategy aligned with key risks like employee exit and misuse.
• Collaborate with HR, Legal, and Privacy teams to remediate confirmed incidents and provide documentation for disciplinary actions.
• Maintain chain-of-custody and adhere to digital forensics standards to preserve evidentiary integrity.
• Support the broader Security Operations Center (SOC) during high-risk security incidents.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in insider risk, security operations, digital forensics, or incident response.
• 2+ years of experience specifically managing an insider risk program or conducting investigations.
• Proficiency with forensic tools, endpoint DLP, and analysis of macOS, Windows, and cloud/container environments.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, UEBA, EDR, and email security solutions.
• Ability to extract and interpret log data from AWS and Google Workspace.
• Must have authorization to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
