What you will do

• Collaborate across the full stack to build highly scalable solutions for wildfire detection.
• Develop new features, tools, and frameworks to meet emerging business requirements.
• Drive major projects from initial conceptualization through to production deployment.
• Ensure application performance, security, and maintainability of production systems.
• Participate in on-call rotations to triage and resolve critical production issues.
• Create technical documentation, run-books, and monitoring dashboards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer.
• 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
• Strong proficiency in server-side Java development using frameworks like Spring.
• Expertise in frontend technologies including TypeScript and React.
• Solid experience with SQL, RDBMS (PostgreSQL), and ORMs.
• Must be based in the US, with a preference for Pacific or Mountain time zones.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like GCP or AWS.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with caching mechanisms like Redis or Memcached.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD, and security frameworks like SOC2/ISO 27001.
