Product Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid, three days per week in the San Francisco or New York City office

Salary: $80,000–$86,000 per year

What you will do

• Monitor SLAs and operational performance across product workflows, flagging anomalies and investigating root causes.
• Build and maintain reporting and dashboards that show process status, bottlenecks, outcomes, and operational risks.
• Manage provider and connection lifecycles, including intake, data mapping, cross-team coordination, parallel runs, and handoff to automation.
• Partner with product, integrations, engineering, and operations to replace manual support with scalable workflows.
• Own ambiguous operational problems end-to-end and drive initiatives from identification through resolution.
• Communicate progress, blockers, risks, and documented processes to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in business operations, product operations, business or data analysis, or a related analytical role in a financial, technology, or fintech company.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and operational skills, with experience using metrics to identify and resolve process issues.
• Experience handling structured data such as Excel, CSV, and JSON.
• Working knowledge of SQL for locating data sources, joining tables, and building verifiable dashboards.
• Working knowledge of Python for data analysis, scripting, or automation.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently, coordinate across teams, and clearly document processes.

Nice to have

• Experience with payroll or HR systems, retirement products, technical support, product operations, or business analysis.
• Experience with API-based or highly process-oriented products.
• Experience building dashboards and tracking metrics in Sigma.
• Familiarity with Snowflake, other cloud data warehouses, or Datadog logs.
