What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end architecture and delivery of complex backend solutions for the global DataHub platform.
• Design and operate distributed systems using cloud-native technologies and AWS.
• Set engineering standards through code reviews, architecture discussions, and best practices.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders in North America and KL to expand data capabilities.
• Drive reliability through incident resolution, postmortems, and observability improvements.
• Mentor engineers and promote high standards in testing and CI/CD.

Requirements

• Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Strong experience with distributed systems, AWS, and container orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS/ECS).
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, OpenAPI, Jenkins, and security scanning tools.
• Experience with event-driven patterns and data streaming (Kafka).
• Advanced English proficiency is required for global collaboration.
• Adoption of an AI-native mindset using tools like Cursor, Claude, or agentic engineering practices.

Nice to have

• Full-stack experience with Angular or React.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and advanced AWS tuning.
• Advanced use of AI or automation tools.
