TL;DR

Communications Senior Associate (Climate/Digital Content): Developing strategic communications and storytelling for the UK PACT programme with an accent on translating technical climate work into engaging narratives. Location: Hybrid (UK). Must have current UK work authorisation; visa sponsorship is not available. Ideally based in London or Bristol (3 days office, 2 days home).

What you will do

• Lead the development of high-quality editorial content and shape compelling stories of change for the UK PACT programme.
• Manage day-to-day content planning and publishing across digital channels, including the website and LinkedIn.
• Coordinate with FCDO, embassies, and implementing partners to align and amplify strategic messaging.
• Produce regular performance insights using digital analytics to optimize content and communication approaches.
• Draft engaging social media assets, including short-form video scripts, carousels, and infographics.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in communications, digital content delivery, and editorial leadership.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills for both blogs and long-form pieces.
• Proven experience developing content for digital platforms, specifically LinkedIn.
• Proficiency with design tools such as Canva or Adobe Express.
• Professional fluency in English.
• Current UK work authorisation.

Nice to have

• Experience working on government-funded programmes.
• Knowledge of climate change, energy transition, or sustainable development.
• Experience managing relationships with external suppliers and consultants.
• Familiarity with Value for Money (VfM) and results frameworks.
• Experience with CRM systems, mailing lists, and delivering online webinars.
