Salary: $104,000 – $160,600 USD

What you will do

• Build and maintain AI automations across Internal Audit functions using the existing AI Hub and SOX testing engine.
• Manage the problem statement intake pipeline and prioritize the automation backlog based on impact and complexity.
• Maintain the AI Impact Dashboard to track and verify recovered audit hours and strategic value.
• Coordinate bi-weekly showcases and track progress for various AI Working Groups.
• Drive team-wide adoption by providing one-on-one activation and maintaining the AI Learning Catalog.
• Represent Internal Audit in company-wide and Finance AI Champions networks to share learnings.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of internal audit experience across at least two disciplines (IT audit, SOX, data analytics).
• CPA, CIA, or CISA certification (CISA preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to build AI tools or structured prompt workflows for real-world audit tasks.
• Technical depth to ensure automations meet SOX testing and workpaper integrity standards.
• Strong written communication skills for translating technical outputs for non-technical audiences.
• Must be based in or able to work from the San Francisco office 2 days per week.

Nice to have

• Big 4 public accounting or IT audit advisory experience.
• Experience with audit platforms like AuditBoard or Workiva.
• Familiarity with scripting, API concepts, or low-code/no-code tools.
• Knowledge of AI governance, ethics, and risks (model bias, hallucination).
