Application Consultant

TL;DR

Application Consultant (Software Implementation): Performing installations, training, and data conversions for the inHANCE product line with an accent on interpreting business requirements and system configuration. Focus on managing implementation lifecycles, resolving technical issues, and coordinating complex data migrations for utility industry clients.

Location: Remote (US and Canada). Travel required (approx. 25%) to US, Canada, and the Caribbean. Preference for candidates in CST timezone.

Salary: $50,000 – $60,000

What you will do

• Implement inHANCE products via virtual and onsite methods, including installations and training.
• Interpret client requirements to define and execute necessary system setups.
• Coordinate and perform data retrieval, cleansing, and integration for conversions.
• Collaborate with Project Coordinators and internal teams to ensure implementation accuracy.
• Provide ongoing implementation support and troubleshoot technical/functional questions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Harris software and leverage AI tools to improve workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a software application consultant or implementation specialist.
• Experience in software training and customer service.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows 10/11/Server 2016+.
• Strong analytical thinking, time management, and documentation skills.
• Valid passport and legal eligibility to travel to the US, Canada, and the Caribbean.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of utility billing or financial/accounting processes.
• SQL Server skills, including SSMS and writing queries.
• Experience with data migrations and relational databases.
• Previous project management experience.
