What you will do

• Lead, manage, and develop the Radiation & Charging team to foster a collaborative and innovation-driven environment.
• Contribute to space projects by preparing technical proposals, concepts, and effort estimations.
• Ensure the successful execution of team activities regarding quality, cost, and schedule.
• Oversee team resource and capacity planning while driving recruitment and talent development.
• Provide technical guidance on complex engineering challenges and promote cross-project knowledge sharing.
• Lead continuous improvement of team processes, methods, and tools to ensure compliance with standards.

Requirements

• University degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.
• Several years of professional experience in the space industry, ideally in Radiation Effects or Spacecraft Charging.
• Proven leadership capabilities with experience in decision-making, accountability, and coaching technical teams.
• Strong business acumen with a strategic mindset and results orientation.
• Fluent English language skills (written and spoken).
• German language skills are considered an advantage.
