Technical Project Manager (IoT)

Location: Cologne, Germany; client-site travel required.

What you will do

• Architect, design, develop, test, and implement solutions using the hirify.global platform and integrated applications.
• Design and coordinate proof-of-concept implementations that support customer business objectives and generate strategic value.
• Guide customers on applying the product platform to their business processes, strategy, and roadmap.
• Coordinate account activities with account management, sales, product, project management, store associates, and customer success stakeholders.
• Support commercial processes including RFPs, negotiations, ROI calculations, and CRM updates.
• Provide technical and business guidance, coach stakeholders, report progress, and serve as the operational contact for partners.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of successful experience in a similar Solution Engineer or Technical Project Manager position.
• Experience in retail, AI, or computer vision, including retail processes and inventory control.
• Engineering degree; retail or IT specialization is an advantage.
• German at C1 level is mandatory.
• Fluent business English, both verbal and written, is required.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, leadership, and self-management skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of another major language.
• Retail or IT specialization in an engineering degree.
