Senior/Staff UX Researcher

TL;DR

Senior/Staff UX Researcher (Product Design): Building a foundational research program to shape product strategy and business direction with an accent on customer mindsets, mental models, and jobs-to-be-done frameworks. Focus on triangulating qualitative and quantitative data to influence executive leadership and scale research standards across the organization.

Location: Must be based in or able to relocate to Madrid, Spain (Hybrid role).

Salary: €81,000–€100,000 (OTE).

What you will do

• Define and lead a strategic research agenda that informs product and business strategy.
• Develop durable frameworks like customer segmentation, mental models, and journey maps.
• Partner with data science and product analytics to combine qualitative and quantitative signals.
• Influence product, design, and executive leadership through evidence-backed narratives.
• Mentor designers and researchers to raise the research fluency of the organization.
• Establish and evolve research methods, tooling, and standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years (Senior) or 8+ years (Staff) of UX research experience with a track record of strategic impact.
• Experience building and scaling research frameworks adopted across an organization.
• Fluency in both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Full professional proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• Ability to travel 3 to 4 times a year for customer-related events.
• Experience researching complex B2B or enterprise software is a strong plus.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in HCI, psychology, anthropology, sociology, or statistics.
• Experience using AI to improve research operations or analysis.
• French language proficiency.
