Senior Backend Engineer, Voice AI

Location: Hybrid work in Tel Aviv, Israel, with an office in Midtown Tel Aviv.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end development of the customer-facing Voice AI agent.
• Architect and ship scalable backend services for real-time AI interactions across the technology stack.
• Evaluate, integrate, and deploy current LLMs and AI providers.
• Drive product initiatives that make the AI agent more capable, intuitive, and responsive.
• Mentor engineers through collaboration, architectural discussions, and code reviews.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional full-stack engineering experience with an exceptionally strong backend foundation.
• Experience shipping production-grade systems.
• Strong interest in AI and willingness to work in ambiguous, rapidly evolving areas.
• Collaborative, proactive approach with strong ownership of product and technical outcomes.
• Leadership mindset and commitment to mentoring and engineering excellence.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, prompt engineering, LLMs, or building AI agents.
