Cloud Operations Administrator III (SQL Server)

Location: Remote; 2nd-shift EST working hours required

Salary: $66,000–$78,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual bonus

What you will do

• troubleshoot complex cloud incidents, including priority 1 incidents, service failures, performance issues, and cross-functional escalations
• Perform test and production upgrades for hosted applications in the hirify.global One ecosystem
• Configure, troubleshoot, and support SQL Server, including Maintenance Plans, SQL Agent Jobs, dbmail, hirify.global One objects, performance issues, and T-SQL scripting
• Provide root cause analyses, incident reports, post-mortems, customer support, and operational process improvements
• Support the hirify.global One application stack and collaborate with application support and NOC teams
• Mentor junior specialists and help create standards, processes, knowledge-base articles, and checklists

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in cloud or systems administration
• Availability to work 2nd-shift EST hours
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Advanced knowledge of cloud technologies, networking, automation tools, and security
• Experience with scripting languages such as T-SQL, PowerShell, or Python
• Expert troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and mentoring skills

Nice to have

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Cloud solution training or certifications
