What you will do

• Develop and execute a strategy to serve proprietary trading groups and high-frequency traders in the Australian market.
• Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, commercial negotiations, and deal alignment with internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate the onboarding of new accounts, including KYC, legal documentation, and wholesale investor classification.
• Support technical integration discussions regarding API/FIX connectivity and colocation requirements.
• Represent the company at industry events and conferences to build and maintain professional relationships.
• Gather product feedback from traders to drive internal improvements and upsell additional products or higher fee tiers.

Requirements

• Must be based in Australia, ideally Sydney.
• At least 4 years of experience in business development or sales within trading-related industries such as derivatives, FX, or commodities.
• Existing network and relationships with market makers, proprietary trading firms, or trading infrastructure providers.
• Strong understanding of market microstructure, maker-taker fee models, and HFT evaluation criteria.
• Familiarity with API- or FIX-based trading relationships and technical integration requirements.
• Proven track record of managing multi-stakeholder commercial negotiations.
