What you will do

• Define and execute product vision, strategy, and roadmap for core platform capabilities.
• Translate market, customer, and business needs into actionable product requirements and priorities.
• Manage feedback from partners, communities, and internal teams to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support engineering teams by providing clear priorities, well-defined initiatives, and actionable requirements.
• Continuously assess market trends and competitive positioning to guide product decisions.
• Drive product practices including customer research, OKRs, backlog management, and go-to-market planning.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience in distributed systems, technical SaaS, PaaS, or cloud-native platforms.
• Experience managing products for enterprise IT teams, including developers and operations professionals.
• Strong understanding of scalability, fault tolerance, event-driven architecture, and performance optimization.
• Proficiency in product strategy, customer research, roadmap planning, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating across technical and business teams.
• Must be based in Slovenia.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with IT platforms in banking, financial services, insurance, or other highly regulated industries.
• Technical understanding of deploying, managing, and scaling platform products throughout their lifecycle.
