What you will do

• Design and build a variable-based token architecture including color, spacing, and typography.
• Develop and document a component library with structural support for theming.
• Modernize the existing design system by establishing clear rules for component usage.
• Write precise specifications for designers, engineers, and AI coding agents to ensure correct implementation.
• Collaborate with a fast-moving design team to increase overall development velocity and quality.

Requirements

• Mid-to-senior level expertise in building and maintaining design systems in Figma using tokens and theming.
• Proven ability to translate design intent into precise, unambiguous rules and documentation.
• Strong foundation as a digital product designer capable of contributing beyond systems work.
• Experience and curiosity in integrating AI into the core development workflow.
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment without perfectly defined processes.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with design and engineering stakeholders.
