TL;DR
AI Software Solutions Engineer (AI/PyTorch/TensorFlow): Developing and optimizing AI models, software, and hardware-related solutions for Intel products with an accent on deep learning frameworks, inference workloads, and performance optimization. Focus on prototyping AI software, debugging framework issues, benchmarking workloads, and improving readiness for AI and HPC domains.
Location: On-site in Shanghai, China

What you will do
- Design, prototype, implement, and refine optimized AI models and software solutions.
- Develop open-source libraries and AI models tailored to hardware features.
- Optimize deep learning frameworks, algorithms, models, and related hardware for improved efficiency.
- Debug AI software and framework issues and deliver technical solutions.
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external partners on AI and HPC product readiness.
- Develop benchmark collateral and identify workloads that influence product design and requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, machine learning, or a related field with 0–1 years of hands-on AI solutions experience, or a relevant master’s degree with no prior professional experience.
- Proficiency in Python and/or C++.
- Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow and CPUs, GPUs, or AI accelerators.
- Foundational knowledge of computer architecture, compilers, operating systems, and computer networks.
- Strong problem-solving, technical, software debugging, and cross-team communication skills.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience optimizing PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Familiarity with inference-serving frameworks such as vLLM or SGLang.
