What you will do

• Design and develop multi-threaded, multi-process, and distributed computing systems.
• Build software using C++ and Java with strong object-oriented design and architecture.
• Develop Linux system-level software and automation using Shell and Python scripting.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex software and system issues, performing efficient root-cause analysis.
• Communicate, document, and clearly articulate technical problems and solutions.
• Work on HPC-related performance optimization, scalability, and reliability considerations.

Requirements

• Strong experience designing and developing multi-threaded, multi-process, and distributed computing systems.
• Extensive software development experience with C++ and Java, including object-oriented design principles.
• Proven expertise in Linux system programming and system-level software development.
• Experience with Shell and Python scripting for automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing complex software and system issues.
• Good written and verbal communication skills to understand, articulate, and document technical problems and solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud and datacenter technologies (compute, networking, storage, virtualization, containers, cluster orchestration).
• Knowledge of Linux kernel configuration, performance tuning, and system internals.
• Experience with Linux device driver development and kernel-level debugging.
• Experience with real-time and high-performance computing (HPC) systems and troubleshooting HPC software, storage, networking, and infrastructure issues.
