What you will do

• Champion the corporate Quality Management System (QMS) and maintain full compliance with ISO 9001:2015, AS9100, and ISO 13485.
• Oversee all quality operations, including product testing, inspection reports (FAIRs), and PPAP documentation for various industrial sectors.
• Directly supervise and develop a team of Quality Technicians and lab attendants, managing scheduling and performance.
• Represent the company in customer-facing quality matters and resolve concerns promptly.
• Conduct daily plant floor audits to ensure adherence to work instructions and lead APQP processes for new part launches.
• Manage the specification database and track the cost of quality, including sorting, rework, and quality-related charges.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with 2–4 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, AS9100, and ISO 13485 standards.
• Strong mathematical ability (statistics, geometry, trigonometry) and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read and interpret scientific journals, technical specifications, and customer requirements.
• Physical ability to move throughout a manufacturing environment and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Santa Fe Springs, California.
