What you will do

• Recruit, mentor, and develop Supplier Quality Engineers and IQC technicians; set the team’s strategic execution and continuous improvement culture.
• Scale IQC/SQE operations for new product introductions (NPI) and high-volume global manufacturing.
• Run supplier qualification and technical/quality system audits; manage supplier performance using quality dashboards and QBRs.
• Drive APQP execution with key suppliers, including PPAP, FMEA, and Control Plans.
• Oversee IQC inspection infrastructure (laboratory, metrology equipment, automated inspection systems, SOPs) and optimize sampling/testing using statistical plans.
• Own SCAR and Material Review Board (MRB) processes, including containment, disposition of non-conforming materials, and ECO implementation; apply root-cause methods (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone) and Lean Six Sigma.

Requirements

• Work authorization: Must have current authorization to work in the United States
• 8+ years of progressive experience in Quality Engineering, Global Manufacturing, or Supply Chain Operations, including 3+ years in a direct management/leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or ISO 13485), GD&T, and advanced metrology tools.
• Demonstrated expertise in statistical analysis and SPC, plus disciplined root-cause analysis methodologies.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally to supplier sites and manufacturing facilities (up to 15%).
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Systems, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or related technical discipline).
