Network Security Engineer

What you will do

• Deploy and manage stable computing and network services.
• Lead technical projects and determine site server strategies.
• Conduct capacity and feasibility studies to resolve network issues.
• Research and implement new technologies and tools.
• Perform impact analysis and troubleshoot complex network problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, CS, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience with Cisco, Extreme, Arista, and F5 components.
• Experience configuring Fortinet FortiGate firewalls (FortiOS, VDOMs, HA).
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP (v4/v6), OSPF, BGP, and the OSI model.

Nice to have

• Recognized industry certifications such as Cisco CCNA.
• Experience with MLAG, LACP, and STP protocols.
• Proficiency in Python, Perl, or SQL.
• Experience with REST API and XML/JSON.
• Knowledge of Linux-based platforms and appliances.
