What you will do

• Design and deploy security controls for on-premises secure multi-tenant IaaS environments.
• Develop tools to automate security control deployment in CI/CD pipelines and optimize vulnerability scan tools.
• Conduct comprehensive CNSSI 1253 and NIST SP 800-53a assessments of technical security controls.
• Develop security evaluation artifacts, including SAP, SAR, and remediation actions.
• Manage the Lifecycle Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process and maintain Systems Security Plans (SSP).
• Identify and recommend mitigations for system-level and user-level exploitation avenues.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI Poly clearance.
• Strong understanding of network security principles and technologies (firewalls, IDS, anti-malware).
• Knowledge of OS security configurations and familiarity with NIST and ISO 27001 standards.
• Experience with scripting and automation.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Sterling, VA.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of SIEM systems, incident response, and forensic analysis.
• Proficiency in Python or PowerShell.
• Certifications: Security+, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CCSP, or SSCP.
