What you will do

• Assist engineering activities including design support, testing, modification, fabrication, and assembly of electromechanical and vacuum systems
• Set up processing equipment and support daily operations of the lab
• Provide technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel
• Read and follow schematics, diagrams, and plans to perform setup, testing, and troubleshooting
• Diagnose and repair system performance issues using high-precision electrical, optical, and mechanical test equipment
• Perform maintenance of processing equipment

Requirements

• Location: Plainview, NY (US)
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience testing and troubleshooting complex systems
• Minimum education: high school diploma or GED (associate degree in technical engineering or related field preferred)
• Ability to assemble/disassemble complex parts and demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills
• Experience with prototyping/testing and using test equipment
• Familiarity with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and strong verbal/written communication

Salary: $58,687 - $78,250 (plus bonus opportunity)
