TL;DR

Threat Analyst 2 (MDR/SOC): Provide monitoring, detection, and response services for customer environments by investigating logs and security events, identifying threats, and driving issue resolution with continuous improvement. Focus on operationalizing threat intelligence (including Indicators of Compromise and MITRE ATT&CK), performing endpoint and network security monitoring, and supporting incident response with clear technical and executive communication.

What you will do

• Investigate and analyze logs and security-related events using hirify.global tooling.
• Identify, respond to, and neutralize cyber threats within customer environments.
• Communicate and document findings for technical and executive audiences.
• Follow up through issue resolution and provide recommendations to reduce risk.
• Research emerging Indicators of Compromise/Attack, exploits, and vulnerabilities and operationalize findings.
• Collaborate with cyber threat hunters, incident response analysts, engineers, and ethical hackers.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of experience working in a SOC environment or computer security team in an IT environment.
• Experience with threat hunting and with endpoint and network security monitoring.
• Experience administering and supporting Windows OS (workstations and server) and one of: Apple or Linux-based operating systems.
• Knowledge of adversary tactics and techniques (e.g., obfuscation, persistence, defense evasion) and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Knowledge of incident response procedures; basic understanding of network traffic analysis (TCP/IP, routing, switching, protocols) and Windows event log analysis.
• Ability to work outside standard business hours, including weekends and holidays (24x7x365 MDR service).
