Location: Hybrid (3 days a week in office) in Toronto or St. John's, Canada

Salary: $86,000 - $118,000

What you will do

• Design and deploy AWS security solutions using SCPs, RCPs, and IAM strategies.
• Provide technical security guidance to internal teams to integrate controls into applications.
• Automate and support security tools including Prisma Cloud, Cortex XSOAR, and AWS native services.
• Remediate infrastructure vulnerabilities to maintain compliance requirements.
• Conduct advanced threat hunting using SIEM platforms to prevent potential threats.
• Collaborate across teams to integrate security into all stages of the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of technical experience in Cloud security.
• Proven ability to implement cybersecurity solutions within multi-account AWS architectures.
• Strong proficiency in Terraform for developing secure, reusable module-based solutions.
• Experience with DevSecOps practices and Python scripting (e.g., boto3).
• Must be based in or able to work from Toronto or St. John's (Hybrid)

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Java, Jenkins, Linux, or Bash.
• Certifications such as CCSP, AWS Solutions Architect, or AWS Security Specialty.
• Experience in fintech or other highly regulated industries.
