What you will do

• Perform mechanical repairs, preventive maintenance, and fabrication on plant equipment including conveyors and piping systems.
• Dismantle, overhaul, and reassemble turbines, generators, boilers, pumps, and auxiliary equipment.
• Inspect and lubricate plant equipment routinely to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
• Execute heavy lifting, rigging, and welding tasks using burning torches and specialized equipment.
• Plan job details using blueprints, sketches, and complex technical drawings.
• Participate in on-call rotations for night and weekend coverage after the initial training period.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED or 5 years of related experience.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including walking, standing, climbing, and lifting up to 50lbs.
• Ability to work from heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions.
• Must be able to qualify to wear a full-face respirator.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA.

Nice to have

• Experience with boilers, cranes, soot blowers, motors, turbines, condensers, and conveyors.
• Prior welding experience.
