What you will do

• Lead the design and development of complex C++ applications for medical devices.
• Define technical approaches and contribute to overall software architecture and system design.
• Guide component design, API development, and integration with hardware and external systems.
• Drive performance optimization, ensure code quality, and maintain long-term maintainability.
• Lead code reviews, mentor engineers, and promote engineering best practices within the team.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to enhance engineering productivity across the SDLC.

Requirements

• 9+ years of professional experience in C++ software development.
• Strong expertise in software architecture and object-oriented design (OOD).
• Experience building high-performance, scalable applications.
• Proven track record of leading technical initiatives and mentoring development teams.
• Proficiency with Git and Agile methodologies.
• Must be based in Romania.

Nice to have

• Experience in medical devices, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards such as ISO 13485.
• Experience with hardware integration, embedded systems, or device communication.
