Senior Manager - Governance and Regulatory Implementation (Banking): Leading regulatory governance, change management, gap assessments, assurance activities, remediation, reporting, and regulatory implementation across corporate, wealth, and investment banking with an accent on compliance oversight, control frameworks, and stakeholder coordination. Focus on interpreting emerging regulations, coordinating sustainable remediation, maintaining audit evidence, and providing management reporting across CWIBG.

What you will do
- Lead governance and regulatory implementation activities across the Corporate, Wealth & Investment Banking Group.
- Coordinate regulatory change intake, impact assessments, gap analysis, implementation oversight, and remediation.
- Provide first-line oversight of regulatory, compliance, and control risks, including audit findings and regulatory mandates.
- Lead assurance reviews, assessments, evidence management, audit trails, and regulatory submissions.
- Monitor emerging regulatory developments, implementation risks, and key regulatory themes, escalating material issues when required.
- Lead and develop the Governance & Regulatory Implementation team while coordinating with business, support, compliance, and control functions.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in banking, risk management, compliance, governance, or an equivalent field.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, banking, law, or an equivalent discipline.
- Written and spoken English required.
- Working knowledge of the current regulatory environment, regulatory compliance, and regulatory risk.
- Strong understanding of corporate banking products and services.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Microsoft Office.
