What you will do

• Lead tracking of key operating metrics including technical progress, cost, and schedule for spacecraft thermal control systems.
• Develop realistic project schedules and manage the critical path and variance drivers to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate efforts across product teams including engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, and test.
• Manage budget control points and drive estimate-to-complete assessments.
• Support purchase orders and contracts aligned with program resources.
• Maintain business rhythm and report performance metrics for program reviews.

Requirements

• 8+ years of project management experience in mechanical engineering or hardware development.
• B.S. degree in engineering, business, or a technical field.
• Expertise with Project Management Tools such as MS Project, P6 Primavera, or similar.
• Experience with IMP/IMS and configuration management.
• Proficiency with Jira for managing and planning engineering efforts.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Nice to have

• Formal project management training or certification.
• Experience with spaceflight hardware development cycles.
• Experience with budget and Cost Account Management such as EVM.
• Ability to automate schedule health evaluations.
