TL;DR
Commissioning Engineer (Power): Carrying out pre-commissioning and commissioning of critical energy and power infrastructure with an accent on system handover and technical validation. Location: North West UK. Requires a full UK Driving license and DBS check. Working away from home is expected around 80% of the year.

What you will do
- Execute and document all pre-commissioning and commissioning tasks for equipment.
- Perform Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and customer witnessing.
- Manage system handovers to ensure fully operational delivery to customers.
- Maintain and update health and safety documentation and ensure site compliance.
- Conduct site surveys and compile RAMs to support project teams.
Requirements
- HNC or equivalent in Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Power Industry.
- Full UK Driving license.
- DBS check required.
- Proficiency in protection relays, Ductor tests, and AC dielectric withstand tests.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
