What you will do

• Apply EMC principles during the design phase to ensure compliance with standards like IEC 61326-1 and FCC.
• Develop and execute EMC test plans, including EMI, ESD, and radiated/conducted immunity testing.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and mechanical teams to mitigate EMC risks and resolve design issues.
• Operate and maintain EMC laboratory equipment such as spectrum analyzers, VNAs, and EMI receivers.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation for regulatory submissions.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior engineers on EMC design best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Physics or equivalent experience.
• 5-10 years of experience in design-for-EMC and testing.
• Solid understanding of EMC/EMI test methods and system-level validation.
• Proficiency with EMC standards such as IEC 61326-1.
• Experience with EMC test software like EMCWare or Naxio.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, onsite laboratory environment.

• Experience working in an ISO 17025 environment.
