What you will do

• Act as the lead hands-on architect configuring and deploying Alpha platform capabilities within Okta’s internal corporate IAM tenant.
• Lead the architecture and configuration of governance for non-human, autonomous AI workloads across the Okta for AI Agents portfolio.
• Design internal technical deployment blueprints for anti-session hijacking defenses, including DBSSO and Chrome DBSC.
• Serve as a bridge to core product teams, providing vital practitioner-level feedback to shape final platform design.
• Collaborate with customer-side engineers to share real-world deployment experiences, trade-offs, and technical playbooks.
• Contribute to technical content, including video series, podcasts, and presentations at industry events like Oktane.

Requirements

• Extensive, practical experience managing, configuring, and troubleshooting Okta in complex enterprise production environments.
• Deep, hands-on knowledge of core protocols including OAuth2/OIDC, SAML, mTLS, JWT, and Model Context Protocol.
• Strong technical understanding of modern identity threat vectors such as AiTM phishing, info-stealer malware, and session hijacking.
• Ability to serve as a technical peer to product management and engineering, influencing architecture and system behaviors.
• Exceptional communication skills to translate complex configurations into clear, peer-to-peer technical explanations.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Sydney office in a hybrid capacity.
