Finance Manager (Technology FP&A)

What you will do

• Own budgeting and forecasting for the Technology function, including budget vs. actual variance analysis and driver-based reporting.
• Lead analysis to evaluate key drivers and metrics, partnering to drive operational efficiencies.
• Partner with controllership on accruals and close-process elements; evolve processes as needed.
• Review and stress-test buy-side valuation and financial deal models; lead financial due diligence workstream for acquisitions.
• Translate deal-stage financial models into post-close operational budgets, COA structures, and FP&A tracking mechanisms.
• Support Pricing & Packaging and Large Deal Pursuit with margin impact analysis, deal desk support, and scenario modeling.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in San Francisco, CA with a two-day in-office requirement (Tuesday & Wednesday).
• Minimum 5+ years of FP&A experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• Proficiency with FP&A systems (Anaplan and Workday experience is a huge plus).
• Excellent financial modeling and analysis skills; advanced Excel and/or Google Sheets, plus strong PowerPoint/Slides skills.
• Experience with M&A support (deal model review, financial diligence, operating model conversion, and post-merger integration/synergy tracking).

• Annual base salary range: $143,000–$197,000 USD (for candidates located in California excluding the San Francisco Bay Area, Colorado, Illinois, New York, and Washington).
