What you will do

• Plan and design prototype tests and procedures.
• Fabricate and assemble fixtures, test stands, and wire harnesses.
• Diagnose, report, and repair technical issues on prototype boats.
• Build and instrument test setups in collaboration with test engineers.
• Oversee and maintain test facilities and assets to meet schedules.
• Conduct safe lab bench tests and on-vehicle field tests to collect data.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a test or product development manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and follow engineering drawings and electrical schematics.
• Experience with test instrumentation such as accelerometers, strain gauges, and load cells.
• Proficiency with data acquisition systems (National Instruments or Dewesoft).
• Ability to stand for 6-10 hours per day and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid Driver's license and ability to trailer a boat.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of TIG and MIG welding for steel and aluminum.
• Exposure to rapid prototyping and 3D printing.
• Prior experience with HV battery service or development testing.
• Enthusiasm for boating, electric vehicles, and clean energy.
