Location: Must be based in the U.S. (Hybrid option available for San Francisco area candidates with 2 days/week in Larkspur, CA office).

Salary: $100,000–$130,000 + bonus + equity.

What you will do

• Lead technical SEO and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategy to improve visibility in AI-powered search experiences.
• Design and execute a continuous program of SEO/GEO experiments to drive organic growth.
• Build analytical frameworks to connect organic activity to business outcomes like conversions and revenue.
• Partner with engineering and product teams to ship SEO improvements and resolve technical issues.
• Write high-quality content and briefs while leveraging AI tools for scaling production and research.
• Distribute and repurpose content across various channels to maximize organic value.

Requirements

• Must be based in the U.S.
• 3–5 years of experience in SEO, growth, analytics, or organic marketing.
• Strong analytical skills with fluency in GA4, Google Search Console, and spreadsheets.
• Technical aptitude including ability to read HTML/CSS/JS and understand rendering/crawlability.
• Excellent writing skills for both content pieces and technical requirements.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an analytical field.

Nice to have

• Experience shipping GEO/AI-search experiments with measurable lift.
• Expertise in AI tools, agents, and AI-orchestrated workflows.
• Experience with log file analysis, custom SEO scripting, or internal tooling.
• Public body of work such as case studies, talks, or open-source tools.
