Location: Remote (Must be based in the US). Candidates within a 50-mile radius of El Segundo HQ are required to work in-office 3 days/week.

Salary: $130,000 - $150,000 per year

What you will do

• Build and own end-to-end integrations between EHR, CRM, telephony, and health plan systems.
• Coordinate data movement across disparate platforms using APIs, event-driven architectures, and message queues.
• Extend the Laravel backend and maintain Livewire/Blade interfaces for clinical and operational teams.
• Design and maintain well-structured REST APIs using OAuth2 and token-based authentication.
• Optimize platform reliability and performance on AWS using Aurora PostgreSQL and S3.
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers through code reviews and design discussions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience building cloud-native web applications.
• Strong backend expertise in PHP and Laravel.
• Full-stack experience with server-rendered UIs (Livewire or similar), HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and asynchronous processing.
• Proficiency in relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with AWS managed services.
