What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions using modern engineering practices.
• Build scalable components, frameworks, and tooling to address cross-cutting needs across delivery teams.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to translate concepts into technical designs and deliverables.
• Partner with architecture to establish and advocate for technical standards and design patterns.
• Lead technical design sessions, spike investigations, and architecture reviews.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and provide constructive feedback to promote best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with JavaScript/TypeScript or .NET Core.
• Deep understanding of automated testing, CI/CD, observability, and DevOps practices.
• Proven experience building and supporting applications using microservices or distributed architectures.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Austin, Texas.
• Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Exposure to AI-enabled development tools, code generation models, or ML-driven insights.
