What you will do

• Own end-to-end functional testing and inspection processes, including parameter optimization and tooling selection.
• Drive First Pass Yield (FPY) improvements by identifying and eliminating sources of process variation.
• Lead structured root cause analysis (RCA) and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Manage the qualification of new fixtures, software, and machine upgrades.
• Define process windows and maintain long-term monitoring systems using statistical tools.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and equipment engineering teams to balance immediate output needs with long-term stability.

Requirements

• Must be work authorized in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
• BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical, Optical, Materials, or related engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in optical fabrication and functional testing.
• Proficiency with spectrometry equipment and statistical software like JMP or Minitab.
• Demonstrated capability in structured problem solving and 6P readiness.
• Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing environment and lift up to 35 pounds.
