What you will do

• Own production reliability for high-SLA and complex customer environments within Mimir and Loki squads.
• Design and implement automation to scale reliability practices and eliminate toil.
• Define and evolve per-tenant SLOs and reliability models to proactively reduce SLO burn.
• Lead customer-impacting incident response, post-incident reviews (PIR), and serve as a primary escalation point.
• Influence feature design to ensure production scalability and operability through code reviews and design docs.
• Improve observability of customers and develop fault-tolerant design patterns across the service lifecycle.

Requirements

• 6+ years of engineering experience, with 3+ years specifically in SRE, CRE, or production engineering.
• Must be based in Canadian timezones.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes in AWS, GCP, or Azure, and IaC tools (Helm, Terraform, Jsonnet).
• Proven track record of operating multi-tenant systems in production and designing/implementing SLOs.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Python, or Java.
• Deep knowledge of Linux internals, networking, cloud storage, and scaling.
